Mondo Verde was born in 1971 as one of the first garden centers in Italy. In 1978 it began to manufacture irrigation systems for domestic use and the first animal repellents for dogs, cats and pigeons. Very soon Mondo Verde became a firm of innovatory production and trading of articles for gardening and decoration of house, balcony and garden.

A decisive turning point took place in 1989, when another department was created to produce candles, in particular mosquito candles, which represented a complete innovation for the Italian market and made of Mondo Verde an absolute leader firm for quality and choice in this industry.

Today Mondo Verde manufactures and distributes more than 650 different items produced directly in our factory (located near Florence) or we design our products and they are manufactured worldwide as per our instructions, in order to secure an high and constant standard of quality to all of our clients.

We are leaders in this sector in Italy with 3500 resellers and have many partners in Europe and world wide.
